How do i know if the ticket i am buying is genuine?
Answer:
Please note that it is illegal to commit an act of fraud, and members who willingly swap or sell a fake ticket are breaking the law.
Please see below for a guide in helping buyers stay away from fraudulent sellers:
1) We advise our members to always use paypal to send funds - even when you decide to meet with a seller to exchange tickets always try to use paypal as well. This is another way to keep a record of the transaction taken place.
2)Ask to see a receipt - The seller should have a receipt of the tickets bought from the original seller/company.
3)Ask the seller to e-mail you a photo of the tickets alongside an item of your choice (keys, phone, a spoon etc) so you know that the seller has not copy and pasted the picture elsewhere and sent it to you, but actually has them in hand.
4)If in doubt, get in touch with the original seller/company and ask them what to look out for on the specific ticket you want to buy.
If you know of someone selling 'fake' tickets, please email us and let us know at feedback@swapmyticket.co.uk .

What is the best way to pay funds to a seller?
Answer: Swap My Ticket recommends that as a buyer you never pay money directly into a sellers account or send a cheque on the promise of tickets to be sent after. We recommend that you always use an money escrow service such as Paypal or Moneybookers or that you meet in person.
